Angels        


I believe in angels, and it makes me feel so safe
to know that I’m protected from the dangers in life’s wake.

I’ve been in situations where it seemed there was no out,
yet, miraculously, the scene changed…that’s what angels are about.

They’re that unseen hand that helps, a solution that appears;
when we’ve all but given up the hope, we feel that they are near.

They hold us when we’re fearful, or so lonely in the night;
when elements beyond control have weakened all our fight.

Sometimes we feel abandoned and we don’t know what to do;
those angels watching over us will help us make it through.

The angels calm our spirits, and they give us peace of mind;
they give us strength, protection, and reminder of the Divine.

I’m glad I can accept them, these protectors we can’t see;
for that’s what faith consists of and believing sets us free.
